I studied Professional and Technical Writing and Public Relations, worked as an account manager for the Pamplin College of Business marketing agency, PRISM, and wrote lifestyle pieces for Her Campus magazine.
I’m a writer, strategist, and often times a perfectionist
But above all, I’m a storyteller - just like right now!
I’m ambitious about being the best digital content creator I can be with a drive to bridge the gap between products and stories. After all, everything has deeper value in context of a good story.

Social Media Management and Strategy
I was the account manager for Virginia Tech Admissions’ Office social media on the behalf of PRISM—a faculty-led, student-run digital marketing firm funded with more than $100,000 in grants and representing global, local, and campus clients.
I led the planning and execution of social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X platforms. Some of my favorite projects I led include our “SPOOKtober” series on campus and our Valentine’s Day Hokie “Give Love” campaign.

While I love account management, writing has always been my passion. I love language and all of the genres and wonderful avenues we can explore with it — even the less exciting stuff. In fact, I used to write book reports for fun as kid. It’s weird, but true, and if I’m being quite homest with you nothing has changed.
I have written for various agencies and brands. At Area 23 Advertising Agency, I wrote creative copy for GEMTESA, a pharmaceutical brand. At PRISM, I wrote blogs and newsletters for several Virginia Tech-affiliated clients such as the Pamplin College of Business. At eSimplicity, an IT consulting firm, I wrote technical pieces for government IT contracts. At Her Campus, I was a lifestyle writer.

Magazine Writing
Writing is exciting and simultaneously therapeutic for me, but I feel most inspired when helping people. That’s why I wrote for Her Campus—an online magazine targeted at the female college student demographic. This outlet allowed me to connect with females my age and share my personal lessons learned. For two years, I produced and published monthly pieces ranging from lifestyle tips, recipes, podcast recommendations, and more.
